Dumbo the downside...

This post is simply a reminder that behind the pictures and smiling faces and the IMMENSE amount of fun and happiness that came with this trip to Disney...so did a good amount of whining, crying, fits, and not following directions. Our long day at Magic Kingdom, waiting in line for Dumbo, was when all of that happened for us. Phillip and I looked at each other and literally had to check ourselves. We were about to take all our kids and leave, like leave for good...no more Disney. It was lunch time, we were trying to get them to eat while in line, outside in the sun, and it was also nap time. Not good combos. Most all the people in line were not our biggest fans by the time it was our turn to ride, and by then our kids had full tummies and could actually see that yes we were truly going to ride this not just wait in line:) Smiles were back in full force for the pictures, but...Dumbo was not our highlight of the trip. Though most people would rant and rave about the famous Dumbo ride, it was for us a test of patience and parenting with 4 young children. And you know what we did right after we got off of that high flying elephant ride? Go get our daily Mickey Mouse head ice cream bar, and the rest of the day was dreamy:)
