the snow...

since I am from Texas, it's taken me 5 1/2 years to realize that here in Missouri you can actually benefit from snow boots, real snow jackets and lots of hats and scarves!
it's so fun and so miserable at the same time.
at this age, it is so hard to get them dressed, a complete workout.
not to mention I tried it again today, by myself this time, and after getting Avery dressed 3 different times and lots of tears...we opted for hot chocolate, a fire and a movie. Atley was a trooper though and was having a ball by herself out there today.
Yesterday Phillip got them each sleds and they had their first sledding experience right in our front yard. It is just SO COLD here that it didn't last that long. Big experiences like these are always better when Phillip is around :)
